Vegan White Bean Matcha Burgers

VEGAN WHITE BEAN MATCHA BURGERS

INGREDIENTS:

  • 18 oz white beans
  • ½ green bell pepper
  • 1 small red onion
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 3 tbsp bread crumbs
  • Hamburger Bun

    TOPPINGS 

    • Lettuce, avocado, tomato, ketchup, mustard

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Step1

    In a bowl, mix the white beans, green bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, salt, cumin, pepper, garlic, matcha and bread crumbs.

    Step 2

    Mix together with your hands. It is the best way! Then form into patties. Lay them flat on a pan on medium heat. Cook each patty until golden/browned, about 4 minutes on each side.

    Step 3

    Serve on a bun with all the toppings!
